We want to compost your brains! A dramatic start to a workshop description, I know, but yes, we want to teach you so much about compost that your brain comes out shiny and new and ready to grow all of the greatest things!
Join us for a three hour workshop to learn about all things compost. We will discuss the different types of compost and how they work, helping you decide what option is best for you. Then, we will get our hands VERY dirty with a demonstration of thermal composting to create biologically rich compost. If you’ve been dying to learn how to make that magical microorganism packed compost, this workshop is for you!
We will also have a break where you can eat a snack meet an alpaca. Bring your own gloves.
This workshop will be held outside and does require physical mobility. Options for a more limited mobility class are available.
